![]() Bill Faus Sr. at the White House, 1993, where he met with the President to speak on crime bills. Bill Faus's Philosophy: It is our belief that having K-9's on hand, where the Officer can pick his own K-9, gives that officer the beneficial feeling of being able to pick his partner, that he will be working the street with. We always have K-9's on hand, both titled and non-titles, as well as offering almost any kind of training that is wanted in the Police Field

Brad Faus Kennel Master Faus K-9 Specialties, LLCBrad starting working with Police Dogs when he was about 10 years old by laying tracks and hiding from Police K-9’s. He worked with his father and his brother who were both in the Elkhart Police Department K-9 Unit. He joined the Police Cadet Program when he was 15. During this time, he was able to do more things with Police Dogs, taking bites, etc. At this early age, he was even doing obedience training for citizens. Brad then went directly from the Cadet Program to the Police Reserve Unit. In this position he was able to ride with K-9 Officers and observe on the job training with the K-9’s. He spent several years in the Reserve Program, while working in the private sector. During this time, he had a life long dream of owning a kennel and working with Police K-9’s. He and his brother Bill Jr., talked many times of owning a kennel and joining their father Bill Sr., in the Police Dog business. However, Bill Jr. succumbed to cancer before this dream could be realized. Brad has become more involved in the care, selecting and training of top notch Police K-9’s. He has made several trips to Europe with his father to learn more about the selection process of obtaining the best Police K-9’s possible. Then just a year ago, Brad purchased a kennel, and has made it one of the top kennels in the state. He is in the business with his father, who owns Faus K-9 Specialties. On the side, he kennels and grooms family pets under the business of Faus Groom and Room. With 8 employees, Faus K-9 Specialties, and Faus’s Groom and Room has become a flourishing family business.
